POPULAR MUSIC AND THE NORDIC REGION IN GLOBAL DYNAMICS

ACCOMMODATION
International participants might want to stay in Copenhagen. The keynote speakers will be staying at Hotel Fox. One alternative is could be one of the hotels in the city center run by the chain First Hotel. Another is Wakeup Copenhagen.
DIRECTIONS
From the airport to the center of Copenhagen:
Take the Metro to the 'Nørreport' stop. It takes about 15 minutes.
From Copenhagen to the conference site:
Take one of the frequent regional trains in the direction of Roskilde and get off at the 'Trekroner' stop. It takes about 25 minutes. If you need more information, ask the information desk at the station or look up the schedule at this website (enter the name of the stop where you are boarding ('Norreport' or 'Central Station') and 'Trekroner' where you exit).
The walk from the Trekroner station to building 41 on campus takes about 15 minutes (zoom in on the map to see where building 41 is).
CONFERENCE FEE
Early Bird rates (valid until 30 September 2012)
- IASPM members: EUR 50 (please ensure your membership before registering)
- others: EUR 100
Full rates (after 30 September 2010)
- IASPM members: EUR 80
- others: EUR 130
Please note that there is no separate fee for one-day participance. The participation fee covers the conference package, lunches and the social event on Thursday evening. For the conference dinner on Thursday evening there is a separate fee of EUR 40.
The registration and conference dinner fees should be transferred to IASPM Norden bank account:

IMPORTANT: please indicate your name and the appropriate fees in the message area of transfers, especially if the fees are handled by your institution!
Regarding lunches and the dinner, please make sure to inform us about possible allergies and dietary requests (eg. vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free).
It will be possible to pay the registration fee also at the site (according to full rates).

TRAVEL SUPPORT
We have reserved a total amount of EUR 1300 for travel support from delegates with limited resources, primarily those from lower-income countries. The support is subject to application, which should be sent to iaspmnorden2012proposals@gmail.com by 15 September 2012. In the application, please indicate the total costs of your trip as well as received and pending funding, and the amount of support applied for. Also, please justify the need for support with appropriate documents (eg. statement of employer/funding organisation).
